The report the policy was based on said you didn't need photo ID, the pilot showed no difference in levels of fraud between photo ID and non-photo ID (or even doing nothing at all!), and now the Prime Minister who introduced it has been caught out. Ditch this ridiculous policy.

Should be noted that the option of using things like utility bills with your name and address on as voter ID was specifically rejected by Boris Johnson's government, which insisted on a narrow selection of types of photo ID instead.

INCLO supports our member ACLU and stands with student demonstrators everywhere. We are calling on colleges and universities in the US to protect freedom of expression on campuses rather than increase tension with armed police forces.
