I had the pleasure to participate with a few remarks in the event The White House announcing this critical initiative. Thank you Alondra Nelson and White House Office of Science & Technology Policy for your leadership. #TheTimeIsNow for equity in STEMM. whitehouse.gov/ostp/news-upda…
Preprint of our collaborative study on Fe-S in mitoribosome. Led by the brilliant Tslil Ast and Vamsi Mootha who found that METTL17 harbors Fe-S cluster and serves as a checkpoint for translation. This function of METTL17 is conserved and not methylation!

Out in J Cell Science, a little bit on what our lab does and the serendipitous events that got me interested in metabolism and cell fate: doi.org/10.1242/jcs.26…. Thanks to Mate Palfy for the interview!
