I guess 14 years of preferential treatment with a Tory government has made the super wealthy more reluctant than ever to pay their way live the rest of us.

Top Tip for Conservative MPs: donning a Barbour and smiling for the camera at the rally tomorrow, will not absolve you of guilt for betraying British farmers over the last 5 years, chucking them under the bus in trade deals and slashing farm payments. Apologise or don’t turn up.

Conclusion: yes the country is fucked after 14 years of Tory thieving but no one wants to pay any tax to fix it.

The tax hasn’t even been implemented, most farmers aren’t affected. The amount of attention this is getting compared to families affected by SureStart closures and benefit sanctions is frankly appalling

This is not a farmers tax. This is not a tractor tax. This is a tax on estates only worth over £2,000,000 paying 20% on that asset (only over 2mil). There is a reason Jeremy Clarkson called his farm diddly squatt. It's the tax he intends to pay.

Bottom line,this is NOT a farming protest,its a LABOUR protest. They had the balls to do what tories failed to. A fair distribution of wealth. A tiny minority of farmers affected,ONLY the very wealthy. Its vomit inducing.

40 Just Stop Oil political prisoners sit in prison at the moment for blocking roads or throwing paint/soup in a protest about the climate. Farmers are protesting having to pay a reduced inheritance tax and driving into police officers with tractors. That’s two-tier policing.

When I think of all the marches I’ve been on, some with 100,000s, that newspapers and TV have totally ignored, and then I see this one against inheritance tax, which will hit only the wealthiest, including those who bought land to dodge tax, and the wall-to-wall media coverage…

Whatever you think of Starmer and this govt. The notion that they’re the worst in history is amazing. We’ve JUST got rid of the most astonishing band of crooks, fraudsters and treasonous sociopaths. If you’ve forgotten that already, you’re either thick or a bloody goldfish.
