An agreement has been reached between @ScotGov and COSLA on education funding, Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth confirms. Councils will receive £186.5m next year to maximise teaching posts, protect learning hours and reduce class contact time.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Delighted that the Scottish Languages Bill was just passed by Scottish Parliament. It means more support for Gaelic and Scots, the chance for parents to ask for Gaelic schools in their area, and a big step in keeping our national languages alive and growing.
