🏴 Delighted that the Scottish Languages Bill was just passed by Scottish Parliament. It means more support for Gaelic and Scots, the chance for parents to ask for Gaelic schools in their area, and a big step in keeping our national languages alive and growing.

The unanimity speaks volumes. The Bill recognises Scots as an official language in Scotland and lays foundation for a long-term language strategy. Well done Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament and all the generations of activists and stakeholders on both #Gaidhlig and #ScotsLanguage sides! 🙌💪
