Freelance tip: If you're sick, don't suffer in silence and try to work anyway. Tell your clients, and ask them for deadline extensions. Most people today have had COVID. They know how hard it is, and more likely than not, they will be flexible and understanding. 🙏🙏🙏

Here's an idea if you ever have to translate "disponible"... why not "be there for someone"? Soyez disponible pour votre proche pendant cette période difficile → Be there for your loved one during this difficult time.

Note to self: French doesn't have words for "onboarding," "empowerment," or "grassroots." So when I come across weird paraphrases like "accueil et intégration de l'employé," "développement du pouvoir d'agir," and "initiative des citoyens du territoire," I know what to do!
