Can you #help please? My elderly parents have gone missing in #Venice They got separated & my dad (with Alzheimer’s) has both their phones. They didn’t arrive back at the pick up point & no one knows where they are. They’re called Bronwen and Stan. Please share!

Study to become a learning disability nurse. A registered professional with the skills, knowledge and heart, to make a difference. You need to be warriors too. Honestly a great career choice working with some of the best people ever.

bbc.com/news/articles/… BBC covered FASD telling the story of two different families. FASD is common but hugely under recognised. That has to change if we are to make a difference to people’s lives.

Our Nav Kapur delighted to visit the Surrey and Borders Trust Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation last week and learn from frontline colleagues about the innovative work they are doing moving away from suicide risk stratification towards more holistic assessment. Thanks to Paul Alexander for organising!

We have an incredible team at St. George’s Park and many of you won’t see all the work that goes on behind the scenes. So ahead of tomorrow’s World Mental Health Day, and its theme of prioritising mental health in the workplace, I gave out a few notes to tell some of the team

What immediate lessons for mental health from the Nottingham inquiry? 1) We are too reluctant to intervene when signs of risk are becoming clear, citing “least restriction”. 2) We do not accept what families tell us, our fleeting observations counting for more.

A huge thank you to all of our Mental Health Nurses this #MHNursesDay. Our Chief Nursing Officer, Jo Lynch, perfectly sums up the importance of your role in our Trust and our gratitude for everything you do in a ‘thank you’ video.
