My favorite part of this news: Kolide is a Ruby on Rails app and through the transitive property, 1Password is now a Rails shop ;)

This post is what kicked off my love for reverse eng & helped me acquire the skills to get a job at the GE CIRT and later Mandiant.

I owe much of my success to Mark Russinovich. I hope that one day I can contribute something that inspires others to the degree he inspired me.

The state of email today is a fucking embarrassment.

My mom uses Microsoft for email, and she gets at least 10 scams in her inbox every day. She assumed she was doing something wrong. Nope.

Anyone who works for any of the major email services should be ashamed of themselves.

Can ChatGPT Save Programmers?

A personal essay where I explore concepts like DHH's conceptual compression, Brook's accidental/essential complexity, and Tog’s Law of Commuting to predict how LLMs may impact the ratio of toil/happiness in programming.

New in Rails 7.1:

> You can now generate new applications using Bun as your JavaScript runtime. To do so, you can pass the --javascript=bun option to rails new.
