With graduation a few short weeks away, I am incredibly excited to announce I will be spending this summer interning at The Washington Post with the Audience Strategy team! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry:)

Earlier this week I joined a talented cohort of The Washington Post interns. Jami Martin-Trainor and I are interning with audience strategy, where I'll be with the social media team. Looking forward to curating content and delving into audience strategies in a history-rich newsroom!

And just like that my first week at The Washington Post with the audience strategy team is in the books! I’m so grateful to be surrounded by people who care deeply about journalism and how it reaches readers. There is so much to learn, and I am excited to keep growing in the weeks ahead.

Young Republicans’ views on Israel rapidly differ from the party’s. In my latest story for The Washington Post, I identify young Republicans, who say it’s time the U.S. separate its priorities from Israel’s. wapo.st/4eoASO6

Some news: I recently moved from my home state Iowa to Wisconsin and have taken on a new role as the Wisconsin State Journal’s higher education reporter. Say hello! 👉 [email protected]

Very pumped to share my internship at The Washington Post has been extended, meaning I'll be sticking around for another 5 months on the audience strategy team! More to come:D

As a proud older brother of a flag football player (soon to be lockdown CB), this story meant a lot for me to write. Last piece for Daily Herald Preps might be my favorite. Every sports journalist should cover high school sports at one point. dailyherald.com/20250821/girls…
