On Wednesday Trinity Academy Leeds stepped up once more for our World Book Week... Classic fiction dingbats, anyone? Plus more quizzing and award winners!

What a fantastic week! I’ve loved seeing students’ excitement when completing activities, as well as their enthusiasm in conversations about books and reading throughout the week. 💜📚

At Trinity Academy Leeds, we didn’t just celebrate World Book Day. We had a glorious World Book Week. The buzz was palpable, the conversations beautiful and books were at the forefront. Here’s what we did.

8. This collaborative, whole school approach meant that the there was a huge buzz. 📚 the library was packed every lunch time 📚 record numbers of books were borrowed by students 📚 hundreds of meaningful conversations around books It was beautiful. #ReadersAreLeaders 💜

Today, almost 50(!) members of staff volunteered to fast in solidarity of all our students fasting for Ramadan and Lent, each taking away their complimentary feast (with a special treat!) A very, very wholesome day 💜💫

Precision teaching, modelled expertly by Donal Hale and Miss Bisset elevating talk and questioning at TAL. But did our TAL ‘class’ get the answers right? 😉 💜 #theElements
