I was very moved today to learn that Tahir H. Izgil's memoir ๐๐ข๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต, in my English translation, is a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle's John Leonard Prize, for the best first book in any genre.
