At South Elgin tonight for 4A girls basketball between 28-5 BHS Girls Basketball and 22-6 St. Charles East Girls Basketball. Whoever wins advances to state for first time…would never have guessed that considering how successful Barrington and Saints have been in their girls athletic programs.

Barrington up 59-24 after 3. Running clock in a supersectional? That’s a new one for me. Swanson and O’Riordan both 21; Maridis leads saints w 10.

A quick break from high school tweets for this photo of my sons and I on the court celebrating the Illini’s win over iowa and big ten title last night in Champaign. What a great memory this will be.
