The MAPS Team had an AMAZING tour of an oceanography lab by Laura Moore (MHS classic 2014!) University of Washington She is studying how metals move throughout the ocean to better understand oceans as systems. Great to see a former Zephyr in action #WeAre832 Mahtomedi Activities

The MAPS Team got to hold a 180 year old ice core fro Greenland and learn all about glaciology, ice core samples, and paleoclimate from Dr. TJ Fudge, a glaciologist University of Washington. An inspiring experience for everyone!! #WeAre832 Mahtomedi Activities

Field Ecology is deciphering tree rings, climate data, and human interactions with the land. They have been using software from @locallyabsent University of Minnesota to learn about the intersection of trees, climate, and human culture. #WeAre832
