The trees weren't cut down but carefully removed and plans to transplanted to a new location. The rose garden has been renovated many times over. There's a beautiful design in the beds that can be seen in different pictures. It's beautiful so please show our First Lady grace.

You don't see any rose bushes in bloom on the left just tulips & trees. These flowers bloom in the winter, not all year so this picture does not actually tell the story of color, etc. The new planting is beautiful and actually more elegant.

Look at the tree in the background. These are different so someone must have changed this tree too. Heavens! The garden has been changed many times in the past.

"Do you approve or disapprove of Melania Trump's rose garden renovation?" My choice was "Approve" app.1worldonline.com/1ws/rest/shari…

The picture on the left has many tulips, very few roses & the one on the right was restored to the original design from 1962 with mostly roses plus a nice walkway for the disabled. So glad the veterans & other disabled Americans have a pathway for their wheelchairs & crutches.

These are not cherry trees plus she had the trees transplanted to a new location. The garden was not thriving because of the roots and lack of sunshine on the beds. It was restored to the original design from 1962.

Those are tulips, not roses. Tulips bloom a few months not all year. The roses were not growing so the beds were renovated and the design frames the White House.
