I’ve had a great week at my new job. Hard being the new girl but the kids and staff are wonderful.

Week two at new school. Settling. Kids are fantastic. Everybody supportive. Mostly relieved.

I don't understand, in the current climate, why some schools choose to treat their [excellent] teachers poorly. It's not like those teachers would have any difficulty going elsewhere.
