Agree or disagree with what Carney announced, I feel it is deeply irresponsible for a former MP to say that anything ‘rationalizes’ the annexation of Canada. Both the UK and France made similar announcements. Does that ‘rationalize’ the loss of their sovereignty? Of course not.
