In April 2025, I had the privilege of creating an original artwork for the Call for Entries for NIGERIA FOCUS mi-fa 2025 in Annecy. Big thanks to Animation Nigeria for the opportunity, and to the French Embassy in Nigeria. It was an honour. #illustrator #annecy2025

After creating the artwork for the call for entries, I was once again asked by Animation Nigeria to design the official banner and backdrop for the Naija Stand at Annecy this year. This time, I had the chance to bring Rere, her loyal pet guardian, and a few of her adversaries to foes.

While the original plan was to feature six characters, we eventually settled on four. I leaned into a grungier, more textured style for this piece. I'm really proud of how it turned out, and will explore this visual direction further.

Being entrusted with such a key visual—one that represented Nigeria on an international stage—was incredibly humbling. Without a doubt, it’s one of the highlights of my year.
