As a former Navy officer, and the son of a Navy aviator who flew dive bombers in WW II, and the nephew of a Navy captain, I was delighted to see the Midshipmen trounce Army this afternoon, 34-13. Army QB Bryson Daily was highly hyped, but outplayed today by Navy QB Blake Horvath.

Coach Charles Huff left for So. Mississippi after leading the Thundering Herd to the Sun Belt title, prompting mass player movement to the portal and resulting in withdrawal from bowl game vs. Army Football, which now will play La. Tech (5-7 this season). Sad situation.

I just shake my head watching New England Patriots. Twice, in shadow of goal posts, Pats can't gain even a yard and turn the ball over on downs. Next possession, a silly turnover when Cardinals intercept a ball that goes through hands of a NE receiver. It's painful. And pathetic. #NFL
