I’d rather have my taxes go to direct tuition grants for Ss who need it, rather than for pretend loans to young ppl with unknown degrees & earning power, using pretend govt f’casts of future revenue and repmts, while tormenting Ss for years about the exact amounts of their debt.

Is easyJet aware how many ppl can’t book on their website or app? At payment stage of booking, it now says I’m not “authorized” and should book “directly” with easyJet. Then get directed to partner sites—for travel agents! See TripAdvisor thread for complaints since Jan 2024.

Just made a road trip reservation at a Hampton by Hilton and saw this in my confirmation msg: “in accordance with CDC guidelines, we are requiring face coverings in all indoor public areas of all our hotels throughout the U.S. for guests and Team Members” Huh?

Haven’t been there in over 20 years. Wife has never been. So we’d planned a visit next month during a trip to the UK. Giving up on it for now. Maybe we’ll try again in the future, once these depressingly nonsensical desecrations are removed and sanity is restored.
