The same poor judgement that lead people to believe that Elon would be good for Twitter, leads them to believe that these VCs understand local government. They don't even understand banking, which is why they embarrassed themselves on SVB, learning in public what the FDIC does.

Reading this is bonkers because I could argue I did exactly this, but without the foresight to call it intentional.
