Day three. Moving out of the Neurology ICU.

Today I'm going in to the hospital to have the hemorrhage removed. I hope they leave some hair on my head.

Out of surgery. There is now a nine inch scar which wraps around my ear.

I realized what I needed after surgery was people to accept me. And realize I would recover to be the person who I was.

They let me free. I'm out. Back to ALMOST normal.

I'm realizing the commute to work and back is as tiring as the actual work itself.

Going back home to go to my 20th high school reunion.

Went to the NAMI convention today. I had to give a five minute speech in front of 2,000 NAMI members.

Moving back to my home town of Bloomington, Indiana.

Just got hired by Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. So excited!

Having this stroke may have been good for me. I learned a lot about the brain and myself. I am now able to pass the information on to others

My friends, family, and co-workers have been so understanding through this process.
