Anybody else dislikes "drag & drop"? It's ok for very short distances, but very annoying when having to drag a file through several nested folders, or when having to scroll to the target. I would rather have a new type of pattern: the "pick & place". 1 click to pick, 1 to place.

The W3C is planning on adding Masonry layouts to the #CSS spec. They've asked the community if this new feature should be its own "display: masonry;" or an extension of the current CSS Grid. Here's why I think it should be "display: masonry;" github.com/w3c/csswg-draf…
