I’ve been using gpt-5 for a bit now. This model broke me. It is so good. I didn’t know what the price was. I assumed it would be o3-pro priced because it is that smart. Nope. Truly insane. Videos coming very soon.

ChatGPT Plus is a super tempting deal now. Just months ago I had it for like 2-3 months whilst I was using it heavily to help me make study material (GCSEs), and since it has Codex, and waaaay more access to these new GPT-5 models. 😅

I've been wanting to share this part in particular for awhile. gpt-5 is the safest model ever made. I ran it on Anthropic's "Agentic Misalignment" bench. Most of the smartest models will act harmful 40-70% of the time. That 0.1%? False positive. Perfect score. 0%.

Things that stopped being relevant today: - Claude 4 Sonnet - Claude 4.1 Opus - Claude Code - o3-pro - Gemini 2.5 Pro - Gemini 2.0 Flash (2.5 was rough) - Every mini and nano model ever made - More stuff I'm not thinking of

lmao, Theo’s correct here I’m happy with GPT-5, it’s nice that all users get it, it’s cheap via the API, and it’s the first (proper) good GPT coding model

rip, the GPT-5 models are on OpenRouter now, but GPT-5 itself needs your own key from OpenAI.. mini and nano are fine hope this changes after the soft launch?

GPT 5 is so cool shame it requires an OpenAI API via OpenRouter, but i hope that changes soon (as a free ChatGPT user, i still don't have access to it yet lol)

omg I was wondering why I wasn’t hitting any cursor limits with GPT-5, it turns out they’re giving it out free with cursor atm!! everyone should try it, it’s actually insane and works really well (don’t even need a debit card lol, I’m not paying for cursor and never have)
