And done. Sam Wiebe ‖ Nolan Chase is excellent as always. There is an indirect link to my favourite Wakeland novel, Cut You Down, but reading it first is not required. Sam wove a very engaging story here with two (and more!) characters I hope to read about again in future books. Bravo, Sam.

While the rest of the world waited for the eclipse I spent this overcast rainy day working on #writing projects with soft jazz playing and my little fireplace on to take the chill out of the air - and it was heaven 😍

When I force myself to write something that’s not really in my heart, I will ultimately fail. I'm learning it's okay if I don’t have anything ready at the exact moment a submission call goes out. There will be others.
