I really encourage you to use #Wikipedia in teaching if you can! I used it for the first time last quarter & my students really seemed to enjoy this activity as a part of #DH. & we get to #fillinthegaps in #LatinX info that exist in #wikipedia. Submit a course before June 20!

Easy steps to submit your course for approval: 1) dashboard.wikiedu.org. 2) Complete Orientation for New Instructors. You'll be prompted. 3) Launch our Assignment Design Wizard. Go through the wizard to create your course page. Submit the course page & your application is done!

It's really rewarding for you/students to see your work once you're done. Plus they get the skills to continue making/editing #wikipedia pages. AND you get a #WikiEducation liaison to help you with the course. A real person! In my 8-student class we accomplished this:
