Adding another thing to the list of crazy things I saw at a horse show today: teenager sitting behind the saddle directly on her horse’s lumbar spine while her trainer readjusted the saddle and moved it up. Like yes, I’m sure that was very comfortable for your horse 😬

I did a thing

It took me 3 hours to do PM feed tonight when it usually takes me 45 min 😭 Between changing blankets, plugging water buckets in, soaking feed, I am so over winter

Update: when he pricks his ears, they almost touch 🥹

I think it’s an unspoken rule among my OTTBs that within the first 3 months that I own them, they must cause me an emergency vet bill that costs more than they did 😂

Omg I’ve been in the forage based nutrition page on FB for 5 min and I already want to bang my head against a wall. Soy is not bad for your horse. Wheat middlings are not bad for your horse. Feed grade molasses is not bad for your horse.

Had to post an update on the baby TB, he did his first show last weekend and was a star and yesterday we rode with Boyd and he was super! So proud of him and how he’s progressing!
