At the campaign launch for Paul Prescod running for State Senate. Such an inspiring collection of union leaders, educators, and working people from throughout our District -- all sharing ways they've been inspired by Paul and his absolute dedication to working folks.
The main theme of Paul Prescod's campaign launch: consistency. He has been in public and on the record standing up for workers and public education for a lot longer than he's been a politician. He's earned a lot of trust and that builds a lot of excitement.

We have a new supt and it's Tony Watlington. He was the best of the candidates and I'm more hopeful than I expected to be. But the hiring process raised many lessons, abt public engagement & abt our failure to cultivate internal leadership. Philadelphia Board of Education must do better #PHLed
