Today is the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism. We join the global Jewish community in mourning the deaths of 1,200 innocent lives murdered by Hamas during its terror attack on October 7th. We will never forget them.

On June 25, Ezra S. Shanken, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, celebrated his 10th anniversary at the job & was presented with a proclamation from the City of Vancouver by councilors Sarah Kirby-Yung & Mike Klassen declaring that day “Ezra Shanken Day.”
