A highlight of our Induction so far has to be our Epic Adventure day with the outdoor learning team! ππ³ Thanks for a fantastic adventure Experience Outdoors π We enjoyed bushcraft, team building games and a walk in the sunshine at the brilliant Bonaly Outdoor Centr ποΈ



Huge congratulations to the JET young people who completed the 12 week Young Leader Course delivered by Edinburgh Leisure, what a great achievement! We celebrated success as they were awarded their gold certificate this morning π₯A big thanks to Emily and Mia for all your hard work π


Our Construction Skills group have been busy visiting some construction sites across the city. Thank you to Morrison Construction and Tilbury Douglas for hosting us.


Great morning at CCG Scotland visiting their western village site with our Construction Skills group. Learning about the different trades. Can you guess what is the highest paid trade?


Another great Friday Morning Construction Skills at Barnardo's Works EDI building a stable tower using balloons. Great teamwork and planning from all our young people. Thanks to Finley and Rhianna for all their helpful insight.


Our Hair and Beauty Pathway cohort were practicing the skills they have learnt on a Friday at Edinburgh College. All of us at JET would like to give a massive shout out to Jackie. The young people love working with her , thanks for your patience and kindness to our cohort.



A unique visit on Friday for the Construction Skills pathway. Very lucky to see the work by Balfour Beatty at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh . A big thanks to David for organising it and to Jimmy for showing us around. Historic Scotland


A massive congratulations to our young people who have completed and achieved their Young Leaders level 4 qualification. A big thank you to Emily and Mia at Edinburgh Leisure for their hard work and supporting the JET programme.




A great visit to Heron Bros site at The Edinburgh Innovation Hub this morning. Great to see the way companies are using sustainable techniques in their building and our young people got use some their tech in action.
