Robert Persons SJ d #OTD 1610. He formed the first Jesuit Mission to England in 1580 with Campion, who was captured and executed. Persons escaped to Europe, later founding the #EnglishJesuitCollege at #StOmers, and became Rector of the #VenerableEnglishCollege in Rome.
