my (uncontroversial?) take: adhd isn’t all-or-nothing. everyone’s attention systems are wired differently. some the difference is pronounced enough to make full blown adhd innate, others just enough that modern life pushes them into an emergent adhd-like state

the so-called “airplane” boosters want you to believe that their contraptions “fly”, but this is clearly not the case. the “wright flyer” only flew for 120 feet, and it’s not actually “flying”; it does not flap, it has no viable path to flapping, and it can’t change shape.
