Big news! Over 1000 people have now taken part in Active Together 🥳

This is extremely exciting news and we are working hard to expand the service across Yorkshire so more people are able to take part and to drive forward understanding of exercise as a treatment for cancer.

The first robotic-assisted hysterectomies for #endometriosis were led by our very own Consultant Gynaecologist Mr Karim Abdallah, who said the surgery will benefit young, active women who have suffered for many years with debilitating yet non-cancerous conditions of the womb 🔽

'I don’t feel like I’ve had major surgery at all.'

The first patient in the region to have a robot-assisted hysterectomy for endometriosis was “gobsmacked” by the treatment.
