The route to my children’s school today. Crazy how a few leaves blocking the drains has such a dramatic impact after a big down pour of rain ☔️ #plymouth #rain

Calling all #Forest #scientists and #ecologists - I am now travelling to #Greece #Peloponnese to plan a larger student trip in May 2023. We are very keen to collaborate and learn from local #researchers / #managers who are working on these #woodland systems. #AcademicTwitter

So nice to spend some time at the beach after recovering from covid last week - helping a dissertation student with field work. Now for a birthday day off!

Palae/pollen people, I need help, please. I have slides covered in these things, I am between lilacea family (Scilla or Gagea type) or Ferns (Cystopteris or Ophioglossum type). Samples from a peat bog in Somerset. It looks like a furrow and some of them with little spines

Happy New Year! I need help, please. I am looking at these samples taken from a Roman villa, near Rome. I haven't done much Mediterranean pollen so I am really stuck with this litle fellow. Any idea? Pollen
