A North Carolina woman has made history with the new ultrasound studio she just opened. Courtney Hall said she opened Bump Baby Bliss, the first Black-owned ultrasound studio in Greensboro, NC because she is determined to ensure pregnant women get the proper care they need.

This an impressive display of staying power and organizing. As the interview states, it entailed four decades of work & constant pressure. The funding goes to 45k recipients contacted through 130k post cards, 60 meetings lasting 3-3.5 hours each to fill out a 40-page application.
