In light of this morning's poorly decided ruling by the US Supreme Court, I am prouder than ever to have received an endorsement from PP Advocates of OR. The government must not interfere with people's personal choices.

* Appoint additional Supreme Court justices to balance the influence of extremist partisans * Pass Federal law protecting access to women's health care services * Ratify an Equal Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution

* Fund research and development of more effective non-invasive, pill-based medicinal abortifacents that would not be subject to the abortion bans in conservative States, or that would more easily escape those laws' detection and enforcement mechanisms

Don't give up hope. There's still a lot we can do. Vote. Get your friends to vote. Volunteer for candidates who represent your values. Together we can change the system. It begins with you.
