We are #hiring! Come join an awesome team that I am so lucky to work with UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Ctr! We have two #medphys positions - Check out the details: 👉 Clinical Radiotherapy Physicist - tinyurl.com/tk7r9mpx 👉 OIS Radiotherapy Physicist - tinyurl.com/yckmscvk

Excited to share this initial experience in implementing and testing a predictive PSQA model in the clinic! Thankful for great mentors and teammates UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Ctr that made this possible! Emily Hirata Olivier Morin Gilmer Valdes

Excited about our latest work on using CycleGAN #machinelearning to improve accuracy of electron density and stopping power ratios in #protontherapy! Peder Larson Sue Yom Vasant Kearney UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Ctr UCSF Imaging doi.org/10.1088/1361-6… via IOPscience

Proud of the UCSF Health and Siemens Healthineers MRI team (especially medical and physics trainees Horatio Thomas and Dianne Ferguson) for this work on 4D MRI for visualization of liver tumors while accounting for irregular respiration Mary Feng @RadiotherapyOn1 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

How can proton SPR accuracy by kVCT be improved? Add a little machine learning. Catch Jess Scholey at #AAPM2022 tinyurl.com/5djjyzx9

Dr. Jessica Scholey (Jess Scholey) recently teamed up with fellow UCSF Center for Intelligent Imaging members + other collaborators to work on improving the accuracy of relative electron density & proton stopping power ratio through CycleGAN #MachineLearning. bit.ly/3Sr9fJ5

So proud of our fabulous UCSF Center for Intelligent Imaging summer interns Jolie Wang, Josh Dean and Phil Xie who focused on utilizing deep learning in MRI for prostate cancer detection and treatment using radiotherapy. Co-mentoring alongside abhe and Peder Larson also made for a great time!

Literally the first UCSF Imaging foray into 0.55T #pulmonary lung #MRI. very impressed with initial tests, quality looks just as good as 1.5 and 3T!!! (Not unexpected based on Adrienne Campbell Ahsan Javed 💫work pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34783391/) Co-conspirators: Jae Ho Sohn, MD, MS Jess Scholey

Oh hey there’s our #MRinRT2023 #WomenWhoCurie presenting the latest in #MRI! 💫 Jess Scholey Eenas Omari, Ph.D., DABR & Neelam Tyagi!

Think this sounds cool? Come hear us talk about it at 3pm today (Monday) at ISMRM! — session on AI/ML Emerging Algorithms and Methods. UCSF Imaging UCSF Center for Intelligent Imaging UCLA Radiology Duke Center for AI in Radiology (DAIR) We’re looking for more sites and collaborators to join our consortium, so come say hi 🙂👩🏻🔬👨🏽💻

Such a pleasure being back at Penn reconnecting with previous colleagues and meeting new ones. Thank you Penn Medical Physics Residency for the incredible hospitality, as always!

#MedPhys friends and colleagues 📢 we have an open nuclear imaging faculty position UCSF Imaging ! Come join the team in San Francisco and help lead advances in SPECT/PET, theranostics, and photon counting CT! aprecruit.ucsf.edu/JPF04781

Lovely evening at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Leadership Reception with these #MedPhys leaders 🔥🌟 @TMRoth Claire Park Meghan Koo Jess Scholey #MedPhys

No one more deserving of this award than Felix Feng whose mentorship has impacted so many 🙌🌟
