11 October 1941 | Dutch Jewish boy, Heinrich Lange, was born in Amsterdam. He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in July 1942. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection with his mother Berta. His father Hans perished in the camp in September 1942.

#OTD 12 October 1944, a transport of Jews were deported to Auschwitz from Theresienstadt Ghetto. Amongst them, Duch born Klara Borstel-Engelsman. She was murdered immediately in a gas chamber. Klara is the oldest Holocaust victim from the Netherlands - 102 years old.
