Our Environmental Science students dropped by the Nain Microbiome presentation yesterday and these students came away with prizes. They were even able to offer suggestions to name a new species of bacteria found in the waters nearby. Interesting, engaging session!

Recent JHMS graduate, Charmaine Gear, has left her mark on our school in so many ways, but this might be the most permanent, lasting one. Recruited by her Science teacher to create a mural based on the prompt, “The Science Behind Inuit Life”, Charmaine definitely delivered.
