I just spent some time with my grandma, and I'm just not really okay, but I don't want to dump my shit on people, but I also don't have anyone in my life to talk to about it either, so sorry for bringing you all down. Feel free to mute me for the next period of time.

I've been trying to figure out the most perfect thing to ask for from my Grandma's house when she passes. I've been trying to figure out what is going to comfort me when she is gone. I've figured it out, and I laughed and cried when I did. Will show you guys when I find it.

My gma's doctors a month ago: I'd be surprised if she makes it a year. Followed by: I'd be surprised if she makes it 6 months. Followed by: I'd be surprised if she makes it 2 weeks. Tomorrow is day 14. Today she didn't know who I was. I am broken.

Today grandma started reaching for people who aren't there. All I could do was sit with her quietly and hold her hand. I finally truly understand that Death Cab for Cutie song that says "Love is watching someone die." It hurts. But I love her more than that pain.

My asshole son did not behave himself at Grandma's. Here he is on the back of a chair and trying to get under the Christmas tree that's on her counter. He also sat on my cousin's 6 week old baby.

My whole life my grandma has ended every visit/phone call/etc by saying "I love you more." Last night I was digging through a box of cards from around the time Jack was born, and I found this. I'm going to get this tattooed in her honor. 🥰

My grandma passed away peacefully this morning. I got there shortly after and was able to hold her hand until the funeral director came to take her away. Her house already feels so much smaller without her in it.

I wrote my Grandma's obituary today. It was such an honor. <3

I'm working on the last photo board today and I just had to make this the center of the board. This is so my Grandma, happy and silly, and I am going to miss her so much.
