Our first Volume Monster project totally exceeded my expectations! Students create a monster using rectangular prisms and find the total volume. Then students write an imaginary personal narrative or “origin story” for their monster. RCE_HCS Mathematics HCS #GameChangers #WeAreRACERS

Today in 5th we explored the outdoor classroom and made observations about plants. Students had to determine whether the plant was vascular or non-vascular and a seed producer or non-seed producer. 🌿 RCE_HCS #WeAreRACERS #GameChangers

Owl pellet dissection day! We had mixed reactions with this one. Some students loved it and others were totally grossed out! But most importantly, 4th grade learned that owls play a very important role in an ecosystem.🦉 RCE_HCS #WeAreRACERS #GameChangers
