Question for schools: when you’re looking at booking an author for a visit, does it put you off if you can’t see their fees on their website and have to make contact to find out? Thank you!

An additional question for schools: how much would you expect to pay for a full day author visit, please? I know budgets are hugely challenging. And what would you want the visit to consist of in terms of more talks, or workshops, or both?

Also, would schools prefer the option of booking an author just to come and deliver one author talk? Or do you generally prefer to have a full day/half day option? I want to make sure I'm offering things schools actually want.

Just finished #TheWitchInTheWoods - the first in Jennifer Killick's #SerialChillers series. Such an entertaining read! The pace and creepiness never let up, and the jokes and quips had me chortling into my tea. It feels like the eerie town of Hazard has many a tale to tell... 😱
