My message to voters in Scotland this morning. Labour will deliver Tory spending cuts. The SNP will press for an end to spending cuts and put the interests of Scotland first.

A pleasure to meet WASPI campaigners today and hear their stories. Their treatment at the hands of Westminster governments has been nothing short of scandalous. The SNP pledges to stand up for the WASPI women and secure fair pensions for them.

This is a very, very difficult night for The SNP. I am sorry for the valued colleagues who have lost their seats. We need to learn from this setback, listen to the public and pick ourselves back up. We have to do that because we want to do the best for Scotland.

Labour's austerity agenda has resulted in Scot Gov funding for Winter Fuel Payments being slashed by almost 90%. This decision was made by the UK Gov without any consultation and means that Scottish pensioners will once again be hit by spending decisions taken at Westminster.
