Wednesday marked a very special birthday celebration led by invited guests from Berkeley Town and Stroud District Councils posting good wishes for Dr Edward Jenner, who discovered the technique of vaccination in the 18th century.

We’re excited there’s just under a week until our Musical Picnic! #EdwardJenner played the flute & the violin, & we’re delighted that two Berkeley residents will be playing those instruments next Saturday. Coincidentally our flautist is a nurse & our violinist a doctor! 💖
