CBP officers at the Nogales POE seized approximately 489,600 fentanyl pills and 8.8 lbs cocaine discovered in 6 loads in the last 7 days. Concealment methods included rocker panels, gas tank, bumper and 3 body carriers who had packages of fentanyl pills taped to their legs.

UPDATE: The suspect has been located off campus. It appears he has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no longer a threat to campus and the shelter-in-place has been lifted.

MSU police: The suspected shooter is in his 40s and is not a student, not staff or faculty, they do not believe he has any affiliation with MSU … police are not yet sure why he was on campus tonight. 3 victims are dead and 5 are hospitalized, being treated for gunshot wounds.
