If I could afford to, I definitely would. Teaching full time and being a mum is so hard. I can't give 100% to either role in my life. This past half term has taught me a lot, and I'm improving at managing my work/life balance but I still feel like I'm missing out on my daughter!

Have to say, I had the nicest inspector for my deep dive conversation. Made me feel at ease, told me about themselves, laughed at my jokes - it didn't feel as pressurised as the one I've done in the past. Fingers crossed that it went well 🤞

Seeing pupils achieve more marks on their papers than they have ever done, by quite a lot, but then seeing the grade boundaries & knowing it hasn't made a difference to their grades makes me sad. I agree boundaries needed to go up but why by such a large amount this year? 😭😭😭
