Lovely to meet the fab ABUHB Specialist Palliative Care Team team at GUH today! Blown away by how caring and compassionate the team are ❤️Lots of really useful discussions around the role of SLT in palliative care. Looking forward to working closer together more in future!

Today I successfully advocated for a pt who'd been placed on L4 fluids w/out his consent 😭 "I'd rather never drink again than have that stuff." Now back on thin fluids with ⬆️ hydration & QoL. This is exactly why we need more informed decision making. Good job on this RCSLT 💙!
