Might want to tell other universities that apparently the best thesis examiners are pathetic men on the internet with no expertise on the topic. Congrats Dr Louks, well deserved!

This year, UoY Department of Education and York Evangelical Church donated over 160 presents to inpatients at the Foss Park Hospital in York. Being in a psychiatric hospital, especially at Christmas, can be very lonely but we hope this way we can show the patients they are not alone. Merry Christmas!

Jonatan Pallesen Presumably, you would also stop all Brits from emigrating or working anywhere else in the world - after all, why should they live in a place halfway round the world with a different culture. When are you going to tell all the expats in Spain, Dubai, Singapore, Australia...?

The number of funeral adverts on UK tv is obscene. A whole industry bent on reminding you that they’ll charge you a ton of money for dying but make sure you’re not a burden on your family. How heart-warming.

This isn’t an apology I feel able to accept, and I’ll explain why. (This isn’t about singling out Keith, but a wider issue in how we debate maternity care.) 1. Keith’s original tweet claimed that if people understood how invasive C-sections are, fewer would request them
