The way the pandemic era is shifting people's relationship to time is perhaps more profound than is currently visible. Whole systemic life is integrated in rhythms: meals, sleep, socializing, workday, finance, school,history, ritual, habit... Change the rhythm, change the dance.

In an epoch with truly global problems: climate change, nuclear weapons, evolution of exponential tech in biology, AI, surveillance etc; global collective action is necessary. Doing it bottom-up while remaining personally grounded locally is an important design project.

5/ Learning is change, learning is healing. But industrialized societies have placed learning in terms of efficiency, normalcy, control at the individual level. The evolutionary shift happens in mutual shiftings, in context. The changes are 2nd order & beyond. Warm Data is this.

6/ The hardest thing for Warm Data hosts is to resist the urge to harvest an outcome, or to direct the process at singular "issues". Very often it looks like nothing is happening. That is because everything is happening in a way that is unfamiliar. Systemic issues are 2nd order.
