Unreal. Olympic drops to the 16 seed after being 9th in the round of 32. Now plays No. 1 Archbishop Murphy in the first round of state.

I have 3 gripes: 3A: Undefeated league champions should have a home game in the Round of 16. White River and Sedro should both be hosting 2A: Olympic as the 16? Oof. They were slotted in the "9" slot last week. 1A: LaCenter and Seton playing in the first round? Mistake.

Olympic head coach Sal Quitevis Jr. on the seeding of his 9-1 league champs last : "Obviously this is wrong ... and shows all the flaws of this system." Quitevis was on the 2A committee, BTW.

3 takes on WIAA seeding for football .. 1, G-K drop to 6 was surprise ... but 4A bracket more balanced. 2, WV-Spokane rightfully moved up from 16 in 2A ... but Olympic not correct replacement. 3, Think Montesano should be 4 in 1A (and split NWC schools). Read VarsityWA!
