Crews have restored power to 1800 customers in Port Townsend and Cape George. 1100+ remain out across the county.

Crews have restored power to the Discovery Bay and Gardiner area. Down to ~200 w/o power. Outages along Jacob Miller, Hwy 20, and in Irondale. Crews are working to get everyone restored.

Thankfully the strong winds that caused outages throughout Gardiner, Discovery Bay, Cape George, and parts of PT have subsided. Currently, we have one customers w/o power off of Eaglemount Rd. Crews are onsite.

TREE TRIMMING: Crews will be conducting trimming around overhead lines along Swansonville Road on April 18th near Highway 19 (Beaver Valley Rd). Flaggers will be onsite and crew will be working near the roadway. Please drive with caution.

PLANNED OUTAGE: PUD crews will be taking an outage along Condon Ln and Montgomery Ln affecting electrical service on Tues., April 18th from 10AM to Noon. This outage is necessary so that the PUD can safely install equipment. Total affected customers: 51.

Outage (1:45pm): Crews are responding to an outage in the Kala Point area. Cause is unknown at this time.

Outage update (9:40am): The Quilcene outage has originated with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) lines feeding the local substation. A BPA crew has been dispatched. Affected customers: 1,037.

The Quilcene outage has been restored. Transmission line in the Duckabush area will need repair. BPA crews will take a brief outage to switch back the their normal configuration. ETA for that outage is unknown , but possibly later today. Thank you for your understanding.

Update (12:35pm): BPA crews will be taking a 1 minute outage within the next 15 minutes to restore their normal configuration. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Update (1:00pm): BPA crews have completed switching. All PUD customers should be reenergized at this time. If your power remains off, check your home circuit breaker. If power remains off, please call our customer service line to report the outage.

The Port Ludlow outage affecting 110 customers along Montgomery Lane has been restored. Line crews are currently working to locate the underground fault along East Quilcene Road. Total Affected customers: 25 customers.

Update (3:00pm): The underground fault affecting 25 customers along East Quilcene Road has been repaired.

SINGLE-LANE ALERT - August 22 & 23 Beaver Valley Rd (SR19) near Swansonville Rd - PUD line crews will be replacing utility poles in this area. Please be alert to traffic revisions and flaggers in this area. Roadway will be reduced to single-lane traffic.
