Imagine going to the doctor for treatment for diabetic neuropathy. Only, the doctor tells you diabetes isn't a thing, and suggests your fear of sugar is anxiety disorder, and you're experiencing pain due to anxiety. This is basically what people with #LongCovid are dealing with.

Do people understand that when your stop a transmission event, you are directly lowering the Rt of that virus? That can have profound impacts. We completely stopped influenza transmission for a season. Made an entire strain go extinct.
